Milk production continues to fall in Australia thanks to a combination of drought, low buy prices from processors and the closure of 3rd and 4th generation family dairies
It turns out that some milk processors are now struggling to meet their supply contracts which has them offering some Farmers above $.70 cents a litre for milk. (Where it should have been)
When the local market can’t keep up with domestic demands foreign milk imports will increase and the financial benefits will favour importers and foreign owned dairies instead of Aussie dairy farmers
How do you feel about the corporate greed and government inaction that will impact on your ability to buy fresh Australian milk?
Here’s our policy.
Fair Milk Pricing
As part of our Food Security Policy the ABF party supports the introduction of a minimum gate price of 70 cents per litre for Aussie Milk. We need to ensure Australian Dairy Farmers achieve a fair price for their product to protect the viability of their businesses, and to guarentee supply to Australian families.

Here’s our Policy
Our food and water security policy is about ensuring Australian families have an uninterrupted supply and access to local healthy, natural food and clean drinking water in times of national crisis.
